White Gates; Where Snainton leads...

The Council installed two white 'gates' on the A170 both at the Pickering end of the village and Scarborough end.

Anecdotal evidence is that these are working, traffic is slowing as it approaches the gates.   A Job well done by Paul Mainprize the Council Chairman.

Not just that but the other villages on the A170 have beaten a path to our door asking how we did it?  How much did it cost? ..and most importantly; do they work?
