Parish Council elections were last held in May 2022, as part of the change to the new North Yorkshire Council. The term, this time round, is for 5 years, rather than the usual 4 year term. The next elections will be in May 2027.
At the moment, January 2026, there is a vacancy which has existed since May 2025, and really needs to be filled by the Council coopting someone to stand for the remaining term; to May 2027.
