Nettledale Lane ~ North Yorkshire Closure Notice received.

The Council has received a closure notice for Nettledale Lane for a couple of days 15/16 october for essential maintenance works.

I hope its a repeat of the last two years where the County have cleaned out the grips that were installed to reduce the risk of flooding in the village from rainwater cascading down the 2 miles of Nettledale Lane.  

Its thanks to Andy who drove the project to install them forward that we now have an effective means of managing the risk of inundation from a deluge.
