Annual Meetings...

The Parish Council is holding its two annual meetings this evening, Monday 11th May.

Firstly is the Annual Parish Assembly, an opportunity to meet, discuss Parish matters, and influence the Parish Council. 

The second is the Annual Meeting of the Council.  At this meeting the Parish Council selects a chairman for the year, appoints representatives to outside bodies, such as the Village Hall, and sets the timetable for the year.

Tonight there may be interest in the planning application in respect of the Meethodist Chapel in Station Rd. and the proposed offer by North Yorks Council of an agreement to provide some funds for the maintenance of the St.Stepehen's Church's closed churchyard.
